You will be taught by our unique power team of instructors – Pernille Bertelsen & Grith Schumann.
They come with many years of experience in Pilates, fitness, yoga and showmanship – and it shows! You don't just learn technique and cueing – you also learn to own the space, create energy and deliver an experience when you teach.

During the training you will go through
- You will be introduced to Joseph Pilates’ different styles with Masterclasses in Pilates Matwork and classic Pilates Reformer series.
- With knowledge of Pilates’ wide range of styles comes the understanding of Pilates technique vs. Fitness Pilates , as well as learning to lead large Reformer classes.
- We spend time on “The Six Key Principles of Pilates”.
- The structure of good Pilates Reformer classes.
- Thorough review of ALL manual exercises, as well as transition exercises.
- Organising/preparing for your classes, conducting and adapting group lessons in the Reformer for different target groups.
- Understanding sequencing (good friends) and composition of exercises in Reformer FLOWS .
- You will learn how to use different Pilates equipment.
- With us, safety is always our top priority, and you will learn the importance of guiding your students safely through an exercise.
- Spotting “ Right vs. Wrong ”, as well as correcting students with positive feedback.
- You will receive training in pre/post pregnancy, as well as the most common injuries.
- How do we adapt the Reformer for students with challenges, eg bad knees or neck, and good alternatives.
- How can you use your voice in your teaching, as well as the use of music?

- You will be trained on the latest equipment from Align-Pilates – one of the leading brands on the market.
- You will learn how to use different Pilates equipment.
- You get unlimited membership to all BodyReformers classes during your training.
- You will have the opportunity to practice on the Reformer in the center at selected times.
- The training is a total of 60 hours and costs DKK 12,000. Save VAT by registering before January 1. Use BodyReformer's online payment system and you will be automatically registered for the training. Read more about payment and payment rules below.
- 100% of the training is with physical attendance in our Reformer hall in Bagsværd.
- At the end of the program, you will take an exam, where you will also receive your diploma for completed education.

You should know the Reformer well and be willing to take a few lessons with your instructors before the class starts.
It is important that you come prepared EVERY TIME!
Time and place
The training course consists of 60 hours of hands-on teaching with physical attendance with classes starting on Jan. 17, 2026.
You should expect to do a lot of homework between modules. This consists of conducting practice classes, self-training, and participating in classes.
You will have access to the beautiful facilities in BodyReformer with equipment from Align-Pilates, at selected times, for your practical training and you will get Unlimited training at BodyReformer's beautiful reformer classes while the training is ongoing.
You will receive the BodyReformers Reformer manual. Specifically designed for understanding technique, cueing, safety & sequencing.
Costing and Modules
The training costs DKK 12,000 and you will only be able to hold your place on the training if you pay. The training ends with an exam and remember BodyReformer is always looking for good trainers.
ALL THAT IN SMALL! DKK 2,500 of the price of the training is considered a deposit. If you cancel your place on the training more than 30 days before the start of the training, the price of the training minus the deposit will be refunded.
If the place is cancelled later than 30 days before the start of the training, the price of the training will not be refunded – unless BodyReformer succeeds in re-allocating the place to another participant. In that case, the price of the training will be refunded minus the deposit.
If you drop out after the start of the program, the amount will not be refunded, regardless of the reason and time.
Module 1 will take place on 17-18 Jan 2026. 11 am-4 pm
Module 2 will take place on 31 Jan & 1 Feb 2026 from 11am to 4pm.
Module 3 will take place 14-15 Feb. 2026 from 11 am to 4 pm
Module 4 will take place on 28 Feb & 1 March 2026 from 11am to 4pm.
Module 5 will take place on March 14-15, 2026, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Module 6 will take place on March 21-22, 2026, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
The exam will be held on March 27, 2026 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Pernille Bertelsen
Pernille Berthelsen – Power woman with a huge P and passion for movement!
You can start to rejoice – Pernille is not just experienced, she is a pure powerhouse of knowledge, energy and joy of teaching . With over 30 years of experience in the industry, she has tried most things – and taught most people!
Expertise with an edge
Pernille has been teaching movement since 1992 and has been a Master Trainer for both Reebok and Les Mills for over 10 years. She is trained in both classical and modern Pilates , and has trained a multitude of skilled instructors for the fitness industry since 1996.
Smart in both body and pedagogy
With a background as a Master of Education (specializing in body and learning), educator , former external examiner and education manager in movement, therapeutic and educational programs, Pernille manages to combine theory and practice with humanity and humor .
The competition gene? It's still alive!
She is a 5-time Danish champion in aerobics , has been on the World and European Championships stages five times, and won IFBB Miss Fitness . She has been both a coach, choreographer and judge in everything from gymnastics to strip fitness – yes, you read that right!
Fun fact:
She can do pretty much everything… except kayak and catch a ball without getting your heart rate up. In return, she can coach you to stand strong – both on the mat and within yourself.

Grith Schumann
Meet Grith – the woman with glitter in her blood and a Reformer under her arm!
Grith Schumann is the founder of BodyReformer and Align-Pilates/MyReformer in both Denmark and Sweden – and she hasn't just been behind the brand... she's also been on stage in front of thousands of people around the world.
Grith has had a long and exuberant career as a professional dancer and entertainer , from the polished floors of the Circus Revue to the sparkling stages of the USA – where she has performed with Ricki Lake, Cher, Lionel Richie and… yes, Backstreet Boys! ( Backstreets back, alright! )
She knows how to put on a show , and it shows in everything she does – both on the floor and in the Reformer. With experience from the Melodi Grand Prix to worldwide tours as part of the trio Los Umbrellos , she knows how to captivate an audience – and it is exactly this energy that she brings to her lessons.
In the 00s, she was introduced to yoga and Pilates in New York , and the hobby quickly turned into a passion – and then a career. In 2019, she founded BodyReformer , and the rest, as they say, is sweaty and beautiful history.
